Remember the Mazda Formula series we ran back in March? Well now its back for another series. Except this time, the cars are faster, the races are longer, and Pit stradegy will play a role this go around.

There will be 2 races per session, but they will be around 100KM in length. or around 40-45 minutes.
6 tracks will be selected in total, and 2 at a time will be announced one week out from the event, with a practice session to be held during the week before the main event.
Fuel shouldn’t be a problem for these distances, but you will have to pit at least once for fresh tires. I’m hoping the lengths should be that:
hard tires: you can’t quite finish on a set of hards
medium: 2 sets of mediums will get you their, but you miss out on other compound advantages.
soft tires: 2 sets of soft tires won’t get you there, so you will have to mix if you go with softs.
The weather chosen will be randum, but I will be eliminating wet conditions that would require the switch to wet tires.
points awarded will be:
1st = 10 points.
2nd = 8 points.
3rd = 6 points.
4th = 5 points.
5th = 4 points.
6th = 3 points.
7th = 2 points.
8th = 1 point.

Other notes:
This event will be ran like the last few events with drivers expected to show up ready to race at the start time, and have tunes in place. There will be a 5 – 10 Minute break between each race to give racers a breather.
